A. Configuration parameter for enabling section or subsection.
Every section or its subsection can be configured to show it in the page via customizer of respective section.
Enable section: It allows to enable its respective section or subsection so that it is visible in the page. Here is the example of blog post section. If you go to each section via customizer then there you can find such parameter.
B. Configuration parameter for selecting / filtering post to display theme.
All the sections and subsections share the below given configuration parameter while selecting post and display them in its respective design. Some configuration parameter belong to pro context blog theme and not available in free version.
Title: Shows the title on the top of section.
Chronological order: Select post by descending order either by recent published date, comments number or just in random order.
Category: Select post by category. If you do not wish to filter the post by category then select ” Among all category “.
In the combination of above three criteria, post will be selected / filtered to show in respective section.
Number of post to show: The maximum number of post to show is defined here for respective section beside blog post section. In the case of blog post section, it is defined via settings >> reading >> Blog pages show at most.
C. Configuration parameter for showing / hiding post credentials.
Below are the posts credentials available to display them in its respective post. All credentials are may not be available in all the section, but most of them do. Some configuration parameter belong to pro context blog wp theme and not available in free version.
Show author: It display the author’s name.
Show post date: It display publish date.
Show post comment: It display total number of comments.
Show read more button: It display read more button.
Show related post: It display other post which are related to current post by category in detail page and by tag in blog post.
Show time ago: It display how old is the post. Pro feature
Show read time: It display total time needed to read the post in minute. For this, word per minutes is set from customize >> theme options >> other settings > Number of word per minute read. Default value is 150 word. Pro feature
Show like and dislike: It display like and dislike button with its count. Pro feature
Show number of views: It display total cumulative number of views by reader. Pro feature
Show social share link: It display social share link icon to share the post. Pro feature
