Detail on Header image change

To change the header image in WordPress, you can follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your WordPress Dashboard:
Go to your WordPress website and log in using your admin credentials.
  2. Access the Customizer:
Once logged in, navigate to the “Appearance” section in the left-hand menu of the Dashboard. Then, click on “Customize.” This will open the WordPress Customizer interface.
  3. Navigate to the Header Image Section:
Inside the Customizer, you’ll find various customization options based on your theme. Look for the “Header setting” option then click on it. Inside this settings, look for “Header Image or Media” then click on it.
  4. Upload or Select a New Image:
Within the Header Image section, you’ll typically find an option to upload a new image or select an image from your media library. Click on the “Select Image” or “Add New Image” button.
  5. Crop and Select Image:
After selecting or uploading the image, WordPress may prompt you to crop the image depending on your theme’s header dimensions. Adjust the cropping as needed and then click on the “Select and Crop” or similar button.
  6. Save Changes:
Once you’ve selected the image and adjusted any cropping settings, click on the “Publish” or “Save & Publish” button in the Customizer to save the changes and make the new header image live on your website.
  7. Refresh Your Site:
After saving the changes, you may need to refresh your website in your browser to see the updated header image.

That’s it! You’ve successfully changed the header image on your WordPress website.
