Quick setup guide for free Context Blog Wp theme

Please follow the steps as given below to setup your site via appearance >> customize using the Context Blog WordPress theme.

  1. Go to the admin menu >> appearance >> themes .
  2. Click the “Add New” button to add a new theme.
  3. Upload the theme zip file, if you have Or you can search at the search bar using the theme name ” Context Blog “. To search, you must have an internet connection. If you have purchased Pro Context Blog, then you can select that file to upload here. 
  4. Then, after a successful upload, please install and activate it.
  5. Now your site is ready for the theme.
  6. Use any “Regenerate Thumbnails”  plugins to remake the size of the image that the Context Blog theme uses. Hence, for this, add plugins. Once you have installed the plugin and activated it, please go to appearance >> tools and do regeneration. The recommended plugin is here: https://wordpress.org/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/.
  7. Now the most important step is either of following, as per your needs:
    1. Go to the admin menu >> setting >> reading >> set “Your homepage displays” as “Your latest posts”. This option, upon selection, makes your site homepage, as shown in the demo, which is a blog post itself. 
    2. Go to the admin menu >> setting >> reading >> set “Your homepage displays” as “ A static page “. Here, you need to select any page as your homepage. If the page you select here is using “Default template” as a page attribute, then your homepage Blog post section will be replaced by the content of the selected page.
  8. Steps 1 to 7 are the basic steps for every theme to get activated and be ready with the correct shape of the image used in its design. In the case of Context Blog, the user must use the minimum prescribed image by the theme of 1440 px (W) by 550 px (H) while setting its feature image.
  9. After this, every section of this theme is configured via the customizer section. After theme activation, each section is automatically activated with its default configuration beside the social link display. To change the default configuration, please visit each section.
