Postmagthemes Demo Import is a free WordPress plugin that lets you import demo content for Postmagthemes themes with one click. It also works with themes from other authors — just supply the three standard demo files (content XML, widgets, and customizer settings) and the plugin handles the rest.
One Click Demo Import is a feature that lets you set up a WordPress website quickly. Instead of creating pages, menus, widgets, and theme settings one by one, you simply click “Import Demo.”
The demo content and settings are automatically added to your website, so your site looks similar to the theme’s demo.

Installation of One Click Demo Import
Install from WordPress.org:
- Go to Plugins > Add New in your WordPress dashboard.
- Search for “Postmagthemes Demo Import“.
- Click Install Now, then Activate.
Or install manually:
- Download
postmagthemes-demo-import.zip. - Unzip it and upload the folder to
/wp-content/plugins/. - Activate the plugin from the Plugins menu.
Importing demo content
With a Postmagthemes theme:
- Activate a Postmagthemes theme that supports demo import, such as Context blog.
- Go to Appearance > Import Demo Data. You’ll see a preview of the theme’s demo.
- Click Import and wait for it to finish.
With a theme from another author:
- Get the three demo files from the theme author’s website: the content file (
.xml), the widgets file (.wie), and the customizer settings file (.dat). - Go to Appearance > Import Demo Data. Since the active theme isn’t a Postmagthemes one, you’ll see three upload fields instead of a demo preview.
- Upload each file to its matching field, then click Import.
